Here are the new thresholds for Plan 1 for 2017. Despite pressure from many quarters the government is continuing to freeze the threshold for Plan 2 until at least 2021. This is a back-track from when it was introduced. It was supposed to move with inflation each year. I could make a sarcastic comment, but I will resist.
9% will be collected on all earnings over the above thresholds.
